String Quartet Op. 33 No. 2 “The Joke” By Haydn

Today we listened to Haydn’s op.33 “The Joke”. It got its name from all the pauses in the middle. We thought it was over but it started up again. We thought that was hilarious. Haydn was born March 31, 1732 and died May 31, 1809. This piece is on the Summer Listening Program by WUOL, but we listened to it here by the Areal Quartet. They were funny!
